Fall 2009 Staff/Instructor Training Camp

Every semester Reality Check, Inc. holds two-full days of mandatory training. We recently had our fall session. Training allows us to refresh our minds of medically-accurate information and to update our information from the spring. So many stats, figures, and studies change from semester-to-semester and we work HARD at making our curriuculum 100% medically accurate. Through these bi-annual trainings, we are able to guarantee schools, the best information and instructors!!

Please enjoy our pictures!!!

These CRAZY pics are of Ben teaching us Brain Gym exercises!

Got to get our minds ready and focused on studying!!

I know, I know, we look insane! :D

Remarkably, these exercise increase the oxygen to your brain, allowing it to work at a better capacity.

Here's Sara rolling the tops of her ears. It's another exercise, she doesn't normally do this!

Kim went over the Choosing the Best Way curriculum for us. She's been practicing balancing the ruler!

Ben shares with us the info from Choosing the Best Path. By the drawings, he is definitely an undiscovered artist. :D

Sarah, the "Data Girl", went over input of information into the Reality Check, Inc. database. This helps us keep our numbers accurate and consistent throughout the year.

With a jam-packed two days, who has time for a lunch break? Not us!! Keep talking Sarah!
Sara fills us in on the 9-book game for X-Factor Games for 8th graders.

The Integrity Game for X-Factor Games began to get a bit dicey...

Ben, Nathan, and Nathan looks a little suspicious...

Adam and Kimber seem to be breathing easier once they are out of the game.

Sara puts the games in perspective and shows us why X-Factor Games are Games with a Purpose.

Just like with the students, the message hits home with everyone, not matter how often you play.

In the end is best put through the words of one of the attendees:

Training covered such a variety of issues and fields of knowledge, and all communicated by a comparably diverse variety of personalities! We learned, we laughed (a lot) and we strengthened our relationships, all of this resulting in a more efficient, unified effort of moving toward our collective goal as part of Reality Check, while simultaneously helping us move individually toward our own goals and personal improvement. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, and will take the fresh knowledge and try to implement it in every applicable situation in life. I want to thank all those who worked hard at making this possible and available. The multiplied impact that it will have in people’s lives and on society in general is invaluable. Thank You Reality Check!
